    • Demonstrate how to open a casualty’s airway and check breathing

    • Identify a haemostatic dressing used to control major blood loss
    • Discuss the key principles in the safe use of haemostatic dressings

    • State the important factors of the MAT, CAT and SOF-TT tourniquets
    • State the important factors relating to CAT (Combat Application Tourniquet)

    • Demonstrate the safe use of a tourniquet
    • Discuss the factors associated with the safe use and placement of the tourniquet
